Kim's First Law of Human Behavior

My first (and so far only) law of human behavior:

When talking to someone about a disagreement they had with somone else, you will take the side of the person you're talking to.

Keep this in mind if you ever ask someone for advice about an inter-personal conflict.

I think I tend to take the side of the other person actually. Does this make me evil, a non-human, or just indicate a problem in your law?

Well, I think most people would consider an advocate for the devil fairly evil. So, I suppose it makes you evil! That said, I think that it is fairly common for the person listening to the rant to play devil's advocate, so you're probably not alone.
