Where is the evidence?

There have been lots of articles recently about the lack of evidence for Iraq's WMD. But nobody seems to be asking what I consider to be the more important question: what was the original intelligence that convinced Bush and Blair?

The liberals are saying that the fact that we haven't found WMD indicates that there never were any WMD. The conservatives are pointing out that just because we haven't found them doesn't mean that it wasn't reasonable to believe they existed.

But nobody is demanding that Bush justify the claims he made that the intelligence the US had gathered was overwhelming. He did not share this evidence before the war (even with the UN inspectors!), but instead asked the American people to just trust his word on it. I for one never trusted his word on it, and I think this would be a great time for him to share publicly all the intelligence that led to his original decision.
